179: Friday night Groove Therapy with DJ Lledge

I did say I wasn't going to do party reports, didn't I? Well, I had a good time last night listening to some deep house music courtesy of DJ Lledge and host Novs Morlim. I'll make up for breaking my promise by not adding anyone's name... I forgot to write anything down, since I had my headphones on and was chair-dancing to the music.
My weekend doesn't really start until I hear Lledge's playlist on Friday; if you like
house, this is a great place to hear it. Friendly host, friendly naked guys too. What's not to like?

171: The blacklight sessions with DJ Lledge

It's been a while! My real life and my Second Life weren't coexisting well for some time, but I have more time these days.  Lots of water under the bridge. Among other things, I managed to sneak in a surprise marriage to Alex Thaub along the way (he'd kept me waiting a year, so I surprised him with a ceremony on our first anniversary). That was fun! I'll tell you all about it later.
Last night Alex and I were at the Friday night
Blacklight Sessions with tunage by DJ Lledge Eames and it was just such a good time, I had to share. I love house and trance and EDM, and the way I tell who my favourite DJs in SL are is by how much time I spend bouncing in my chair. I was bouncing pretty much for two hours last night!
Hosting by my friend Novs Morlim -- who coincidentally did the ceremonial duties at that surprise wedding I mentioned -- means that everyone is so engaged in the open channel, joking and
having fun, that nobody feels the need to fire off a bunch of gestures. That's how I tell who my favourite hosts in SL are! And did I mention a bunch of handsome guys wearing little or nothing? You can tell from the photographs. Sorry I've been away from party blogging for a while; I didn't write down enough names. My friend Marly Moon was there ... for the rest, too many cocktails, sorry ;-(
The Blacklight Sessions with DJ Lledge are at Ursa Oceanus (230,63,22) ... hope to see you there
next week, Fridays 7 to 9 PM SLT.  The smart thing to do would be to join Lledge's DJ group so you can be reminded of these things.  Alex and I have this event marked on our calendar for every Friday, but a reminder never hurts.

158: Bryan Trefoil's 8th Rezday party

Alex Thaub and I had the pleasure of attending a small party for Bryan Trefoil's 8th Rezday last night. It was hosted at the estate of Dillon Mays and Bobby Mays ... and put together by Bryan's good friend Novs Morlim, as near as I could tell, who also had a hand in putting together an interesting gift for Bryan. Bryan's always had an interest in bodybuilders and everyone was asked to attend in a posing suit and
shaved -- just like a competition. We were also requested to, one by one, give Bryan a lap dance using the animations in the pink chair that Novs provided.
I didn't manage to get any pictures of the lap dances -- I was too busy motorboating the rezday boy LOL -- so that will just have to be the subject of your prurient imaginations. Indeed, my photographic skills were more useless than usual, even by my low standards ... I didn't manage to get a good close-up of Bryan himself or hardly anyone else, it
seems. Nor did I manage a photo of Bobby's' gift, a huge muscle monster with an enormous -- towel holder. But I approached Bryan about doing an interview with me to perhaps get an idea of some of the wisdom that's accumulated in those eight years, and I'll bring that to you at a near point. There were a lot of interesting folks at the party that may well form the subject of future interviews. I can just name-check the other guests that were there when Alex and I arrived: my friends Joseph
Nussbaum and Marly Moon, Gargieux, and Jarvis Randtalirantaralundar. Beautifully decorated, a lovely surrounding, nice people, well-chosen music, lots of muscle on display, and a good time was had by all!
