200: 7 years in (Dear in the headlights)

It's my 200th blog post and my 7th rezday! And one of the challenges in my photo group was "Headlight lighting". Well, if there's one thing Alex and I have, it's a lot of vehicles ... and a garage and a little
stretch of highway.  So we darkened the sky, brought out a big Harley and got to work.
So many interesting photographs came out of the shoot: I used the first one you see here in the
Facebook group but I didn't want to just file away the others, so here you are.
I'm happy to have been in Second Life for seven years. As I said tonight to Alex, one of the most valuable things I get here is the
opportunity to be creative, which doesn't really happen in my everyday life.  So between 200 blog posts and seven years of being creative -- thanks, SL!

199: New hot tub

Alex Thaub and I are "redecorating", which this time involves taking the land down to nothing and starting from scratch. One of the first things that went in the other night was a hot tub, and I thought the patterns of steam and water were interesting ... hope you do too!

198: Last night at Second Pride

I thought I'd take a moment to share a snapshot from last night's set DJed by my friend Lledge Eames and hosted by Novs Morlim (also my friend!).  Looks like Second Pride is packing them in, as usual, and the venue this year looks great!
So I'll encourage my friends and readers to check out the sim, do a little shopping -- I think most or all of the stores have a little Pride-related gift for you. Have some fun and be proud!

197: Alex on the hood

Just thought I'd share the results of a photo shoot from the other night.  We put together a parking lot full of cars for a photo essay on "unity/repetition" and decided to act up a little at the end. Good thing I have such a handsome husband!

196: Urban landscape

I had some fun tonight wandering around an interesting urban landscape taking pictures ... lots of fun shots.  Hope you agree.
